Welcome to my homepage!
I worked as a managing consultant for cloud and mobility in various large client projects for IBM Germany. I received my doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in computer science in 2012, and my diploma (M.Sc.) degree in computer science and business economics in 2008, both at Freie Universität Berlin, Germany.
I worked as a research and teaching assistant in the Intelligent Systems and Robotics Lab developing self-driving cars, such as Spirit of Berlin or MadeInGermany. The main research areas are robotics and artificial intelligence, including lectures for undergraduate students. My focus involved cognitive navigation as well as path- and motion-planning for autonomous vehicles.
I am also interested in the fields of web technology and mobile development, digital image processing, pattern recognition, computer vision, and human-computer interaction. Additionally, I am founder of Appirion and Mediaspot. I am part of the AI-Game Programming Group, and support the Java-University.
